Terms and Conditions

By registering for any of the Surreal Academy Classes, please be aware you are agreeing to the following Terms & Conditions:

You acknowledge that you are purchasing a product, course, or coaching sessions from Surreal Digital Ltd.

Refunds & Exchanges

Online Courses/ePDFs

We uphold a 30-day return policy, granting you the opportunity to request a return within 30 days of receiving your item. For any inquiries regarding returns, feel free to contact us at [email protected].

Upon approval, you will receive an automatic refund to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that your bank or credit card company may require additional time to process and post the refund.

If more than 15 business days have elapsed since the approval of your return without receiving the refund, kindly reach out to us at [email protected].

Individual Coaching Sessions: 

6-month Timeframe: By engaging in our services, you acknowledge that all coaching session credits have a 6-month expiration date from the date of purchase. Failure to utilize the sessions within this timeframe will result in the expiration of the credit.

1-hour Session: Each coaching session spans 1 hour and cannot be divided.

Cancellation Policy:  Refunds will not be issued if you cancel within 48 hours before the scheduled session.

Rescheduling: If you need to reschedule a coaching session, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance to avoid forfeiture of the session credit.

No-show Policy: Failure to attend the session will automatically render the session void.

Emergencies: In the event of unforeseen circumstances or emergencies leading to cancellation within the 48-hour window, we may consider exceptions on a case-by-case basis.

Technical Issues: Should technical difficulties arise that prevent the completion of a coaching session, we will work with you to find a suitable resolution, which may include rescheduling the session or issuing a credit.

Coach Cancellations: In rare instances where the coach must cancel a session, we will make every effort to reschedule at a mutually convenient time or provide a refund or credit, as preferred by the client.

Refund & Exchanges: If you feel that the coaching session isn't the right fit for you within the first quarter of the coaching program, you can request a refund for the entire program. However, no refunds will be issued for spots after one-quarter course completion.

Homework Feedback: You acknowledge that your work will only get viewed by Surreal Digital Ltd if you submit your assignment(s) as directed. 

You also acknowledge that staff from Surreal Digital Ltd will view every piece of work submitted and provide feedback during the live session. 

Furthermore, you acknowledge that there is no feedback from Surreal Digital Ltd offered when the course is not live. Any feedback outside the live hours is at the individual discretion of the coach, since feedback and Q&A can take up a lot of the coach’s time. 

If you submit any work in class, you give permission for that critique (including your images) to be shared in any format. If you would like to opt out, please inform us in advance. 

 

Group Coaching Sessions: 

6-Month Timeframe: By participating in our group coaching sessions, you acknowledge that all coaching session credits have a 6-month expiration date from the date of purchase. Failure to utilise the sessions within this timeframe will result in the expiration of the credit.

Session duration: Each coaching session is pre-determined and agreed upon by all participants and cannot be divided. The structure of the sessions, including the number and frequency, topics covered each week, and any additional resources or materials provided to participants, will be outlined at least 48 hours before the start of the sessions. The coach reserves the right to adjust the structure according to the group's needs.

Refund & Exchanges: If you feel that the program isn't the right fit for you within the first quarter of the coaching program, you can request a refund for the entire program. However, no refunds will be issued for spots after one-quarter course completion.

Participant Expectations: Participants are expected to complete and submit homework assignments 24 hours ahead of the live coaching sessions. You acknowledge that your work will only be viewed by Surreal Digital Ltd if submitted as directed. Feedback will be provided during live sessions. Please note that outside of live session hours, feedback from Surreal Digital Ltd may not be available. Any additional feedback provided outside of live hours is at the individual discretion of the coach due to time constraints.

Questions Outside Classroom Hours: Questions that take less than 15 minutes to answer will be addressed within 48 hours. Questions requiring more time may be answered during the next live coaching session.

Continued Support: After the conclusion of the coaching program, access to follow-up sessions, online forums, or ongoing coaching services will be available for a fee. However, access to course materials during the program duration will remain accessible.

Attendance Policy: The timing of coaching sessions will be agreed upon one week before the live sessions start. Any absences or tardiness will not lead to makeup sessions, but recordings of missed sessions will be provided.

No-Show Policy: Failure to attend a scheduled session will automatically render the session void. We appreciate your respect for the time and commitment of both your fellow participants and the coach.

Technical Issues: In the event of technical difficulties preventing the completion of a coaching session, we will work with you to find a suitable resolution, which may include rescheduling the session or issuing a credit.

Coach Cancellations: In rare instances where the coach must cancel a session, we will make every effort to reschedule at a mutually convenient time or provide a refund or credit, as preferred by the client.

European Union 14-day Cooling-off Period

In compliance with regulations, if the product is being shipped to the European Union, you possess the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, irrespective of reason and without justification.

Review of Homework 

Homework is only reviewed in coaching sessions, not in any self-paced online Courses/ePDFs. 

If you opt in for  coaching sessions, you also acknowledge that although staff from Surreal Digital Ltd will view every piece of work submitted and provide general feedback to class during any live coaching courses, and that only a handful of pieces will be chosen for specific critique (which will be shared with the class), and there is no guarantee that you will receive personal critique from Ginny Hongxin Wan during the course. 

You acknowledge that there is no feedback from Surreal Digital Ltd offered in any course which is not live.

Give Permission To Use In Surreal Academy Courses Homework 

You give permission for Surreal Digital Ltd to use any images you submit for critique in any of the Surreal Digital Ltd courses or community areas, competitions, social media pages & groups, or to any class gallery in any current or future class-related marketing or promotional strategies, online or offline. You will always be credited and will retain the rights to your work. If you would like to opt out, send us an email at [email protected]. 

You give permission to Surreal Digital Ltd to use any reviews or feedback you submit via email, survey, in the classroom comments, any live broadcasts by the Surreal Digital Ltd team, or via our private communities in any current or future class-related marketing or promotional strategies, online or offline.

COPYRIGHTS & LICENSES

You acknowledge that Surreal Digital Ltd is the owner(s) or licensee(s) of all intellectual property rights in the site and the digital products you purchase, including any databases that hold relevant information about the site and its products. They are protected by copyright or trademark registration and you may only use any of the digital products in line with these terms.

You acknowledge that all of the digital products that are available for sale on our site are owned or controlled by us. Upon payment of the price for any of these digital products, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the digital products for your own personal, non-commercial use.

You agree that you shall not redistribute, transmit, assign, sell, commercially exploit, broadcast, modify, adapt, edit, sub-license, rent, share, lend, or transfer any digital products that you purchase through this site, or any of the contents delivered via Facebook Live or within our private communities.

You acknowledge that Surreal Digital Ltd reserves the right to delete any inappropriate comments in the classroom or any of the class-related community spaces, in order to provide and maintain a supportive classroom environment.

You acknowledge that Surreal Digital Ltd reserves the right to replace any advertised content with alternative content of an equivalent value without notice.

You acknowledge that Surreal Digital Ltd reserves the right to replace any advertised lead teacher or co-teacher with another suitable lead teacher or co-teacher chosen at Surreal Digital Ltd’s sole discretion without notice. This includes replacing Ginny Hongxin Wan for any particular course should she be unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, such as illness.
